Nearer Than We Think
Hey friend, are you a safe distance from the danger? You may think you have more time; that life is a bit invincible for you. You are strong. You have great wits about you. You are well educated and well like in your community, with lots of friends and drinking buddies. But before you know it tribulation winds can blow. Vortexes of Anti-Christ deception are forming faster than ever. Storms of physical and metaphorical nature are brewing over real oceans and figurative seas of human greed.
In America we can presumptively feel safe. We have a defense budget that exceeds $640 billion dollars; yet, it is a considerable strain on our economy. Financial woes could bring our military powers down, weakening our indefatigable position to one of vulnerability. How long before the terrorist catches up with a dirty bomb? How long before a rogue nation drops a missile within our borders? How can we assume that we are still outracing the destructive funnels of deficits, debts, and inflation? They may be closer than we think; the days of war on our own soil could be nearer than we think; the moment of American weakness and the encroachment of a new Super power may be nearer than we think. My friend, you cannot take for granted the condition of your soul.
It may be that some would callously say, “Preacher you’re just trying to scare me.” Well, I would rather have you scared to the Lord than to be scarred by the coming lies. I would rather you tremble at the news of fast-paced Bible predictions on our generation’s doorstep than to be sterilely numb to any kind of warning.
You can’t walk out until you wake up. The sirens of the End-time are going off all around us. Don’t be like the victim who sleeps through the warning sirens and gets swept away in his home by treacherous winds. That victim could have walked to safety if he had been awake.

Bro.Hood, Wish you could talk on some things of our need for rain as it says in Zach. 10. "Pray for rain in the times of the latter rain." I feel stirred in my soul on this topic since we are arrived into this age of the latter rain. Could it be that the Upci. has only been sown of the Seed of the Word of God and yet we are in a drought? Perhaps there is a reason the Bible say' one will sow & another water, and God gives the increase.
We may have been given all Truth but has there been a leading by the Holy Ghost INTO all truth.One more thing, In the Lords prayer I have found that everyone quotes it incorrectly & since my voice is so limited in comparison to a broadcast where so many more could be shown perhaps you could get it out there better for the Lord. Its only one little word but with a vital difference as the Lord told Satan that "...that man should live by every Word that proceeds out from the mouth of God" The word is "IN" Thy kingdom come Thy will be done IN earth, NOT ON. Difference? Everlasting covenant. The kingdom of God is within Could it be that as we put the Word of God IN our hearts, His laws and statutes in our inward parts that the Lord's enthroned upon our hearts that we are those earthen vessels filled with Gods treasures? So what does this have to do with rain? In the blessing of God to Adam or ground if you would, is found the word INCREASE. God gives increase but Gods increase is Spirit or eternal not temporal. remember every tree after its own kind. When we are lead By the Holy Ghost into all truth then we are understanding those things of a mystery. Just like the high priest would go in the place within the veil by urim & thumum to inquirer of the Lord for capitol punishment those tough questions of life. Finally, The Lord told peter "Blessed be thee.... for flesh and blood hasn't revealed it unto thee but..." Notice the reason for the blessing was established on the principle of heaven. Not a question of the Godhead. The Jew already knew that hear o Israel the Lord our God is one. There was never an argument or any controversy on the issue of one God or a trinity but he said .." but my Father in heaven hath revealed it unto thee" Now this confirmed the New covenant that all shall know the Lord from the least of them to the greatest of them. This is why we need water to spring up into EVERLASTING life. The wheel in the middle must be unveiled to the people of God, He must give us the spiritual connection to His Holy Writ.{Zach.10:1}We must pray for rain in the time of the latter rain so the Lord shall make bright clouds' and give them showers of rain, to everyone grass in the field.Then with His increase we can push ourselves through this hardened crust of the reasoning of the flesh, and slip in to the true Light of heavenly TRUTH, the FIRST LIGHT not the 4th day light.I hope I haven't received an en-differing spirit.
